Super Fun Weekend
At the end of August (isn't it October now? Oh well) we had such a fun weekend. On Saturday morning my kids freakishly slept in until 9:00-this rarely, rarely happens. Anything past 7:15 is sleeping in around here. We thought Dave would already have been at school since he wasn't in bed, but he was out mowing the lawn. We got to hang out with him for a few hours before he did leave for school. That night, two of Dave's cousins came to town. Chris and Megan come for potential job opportunities and Adam and Whitney came from Oklahoma to join the party. It was such a fun night of hanging out and playing cards. They taught us how to play Nertz and we played until 4:00am. Then our darling alarm clocks came in at 7:00 am, making me so glad we had a good nights rest the night before!

Yeah! Nertz is one of my very favorite games EVER!!!! Such a blast to stay up late playing games! Love that you've had so much company! WOW!!! Glad you are enjoying Texas!
I've never heard of Nertz, but we're always up for new games. Anything that keeps you guys up until 4am has got to be good! :) We play a lot of SET and Blink! here, ourselves.
I do have to make a request - could you please, Please, PLEASE post on here how you make these "pretties"? I love the pictures of A in them and I want to make some for my cute new little nieces (and, of course, my own girls). Pretty please? :) :) :)
You guys were the best hosts (twice)!! We had so much fun!! Thanks so much for being so great to us. We are so excited to have you close by (somewhat close) :) We can't wait till we can see you again!!
