Happy birthday to my Audrey girl. What an adventure you have given us. You made me a mom, made me fall even more in love with my husband, you are my best little friend in princess high heels, you are the joy of my joys and you make me laugh every day. I love you so much Audrey. Thanks for the best three years of my whole life.

Introducing...
JOSHUA DAVID
I know, I know, it's "weird", "crazy" and "unusual", but we changed Dane's name to Joshua David. The name Dane was too similar to Dave and it was driving me crazy. I LOVE the name Dane, but I loved a man named Dave first. Isn't our little Joshua David cute? :)
Let the nightmare begin...
I am probably the only mom who does NOT want their child to be potty trained. Where am I supposed to take her if we are stuck in traffic? Restrooms are hard pressed to find in this city by the bay. We started a couple of weeks ago but she isn't interested. I promise by the time she is in kindergarten she will be in big girl underwear. Don't judge me.

Go A's!
On July 28th my parents rented out a sky box to watch the A's game. I still couldn't tell you who they played, or what the score was, but it was so much fun being together with so much family! Dave and I are so lucky that both of our families live close by and we can get together and do fun things together.

Seven
S E V E N
* Dave's favorite number
* total number of sisters I have
* number of people I want to have in my little family someday (total people, not number of kids)
* number of years since these pictures were taken:
My beautiful sisters and sister-in-laws
Seven years, two kids, six moves, one huge career change later, and I am still madly in love with the man.
We went on a bay cruise around San Francisco to celebrate the SF Stake's 80th anniversary. I'm glad it happened to be on our anniversary too!
2007: 6 year anniversary. I was newly pregnant and sick as a dog. We went to the ferry building for dinner and we ate at two different places because I couldn't make up my mind. Uggg, the early stages of pregnancy!
2006: 5 year anniversary. We went to Union Square so I could run to train for my 1/2 marathon. We went on a Hawaiian cruise in September to celebrate.
2005: 4 year anniversary. We went to Gary Danko's with Tyler and Joelle, and I was hugely pregnant. I had Audrey eight days later. Here is what I did on our 4 year anniversary:
2004: 3 year anniversary: I was at Girl's Camp with my mom and Jessica. Romantic, I know.
2003: 2 year anniversary. Dave and I had just moved to San Francisco, Melissa had just gotten married (third wedding in two years) and we stood in line at Melissa's reception. Our car's transmission also died that day so our gift to each other was a $2,000 new transmission.
2002: 1 year anniversary. I had just started teaching 5th grade at a year round school and Dave was interning for GE Capital. We went and stayed the night in Salt Lake.
Fun, fun, memories.

Pioneer Picnic
The San Francisco Stake celebrated it's 80th anniversary with a week of fun events, one of them being Pioneer Picnic down at Coyote Park. We had a great time and we loved having Memor and Fafa come help celebrate with us!

Break Part 3 -Ta Tonga
Dave had the opportunity to go to Tonga with some friends to do dental work over the summer break. I am so proud of them and all they were able to accomplish. They were gone for 11 days and when people asked Audrey where her Daddy was, she would say, "Ta Tonga."
Dave working on some of the Tongans. Some people waited for five hours in line in order to been seen.
A kindergarten classs came into the clinic and sang songs for the group. Some of these cute kids were also patients.
I asked Audrey what she wanted our welcome home sign to say, and she said, "Ummmm, welcome home Prince Charming!" And so it did.

Welcome home Daddies. We missed you.

The dentist, and dentists-to-be in front of the clinic.
Work hard, play hard. The boys were taken out by a noble family on a boat to this private island and snorkle around the entire island (the one on the left).
They went to this beach that had blow holes off the shore. It was Tonga's version of the Belligio show in Vegas!
This pillar was made in 1200 AD and the king used to stand on top of it to watch and talk to the people.
I can't wait until it is my turn to go along! Until then, we will continue to make a big scene at the airport when Dave and the other dads comes home:
