Her turn.

Remember this? Well being the sentimental sally that I am, I kept this sign, hoping to be able to use it to decorate for Regan's shower one day. So pinning it up in the hallway three days before we moved away from each other doesn't really count as decorating for a shower, but I am so thrilled that she will be welcoming her own baby boy soon.

PS. I made Regan throw it away, because we all know I couldn't.

Graduation Weekend- Saturday Morning

Thanks A Bunch Brunch at the Fairmont Hotel, San Francisco
On Saturday morning I earned my PHT award (Putting Him Through award, so cheesy, I know, but I am all over this kind of stuff). It was a fun morning of amazing food and sweet things to hear from the graduating students to those who helped "put them through".

Regan and her red. I miss cute random doors like this one.

I am obsessed with this lamp post.

Mindi, Regan, me and Kitrina

Cool view from the balcony.

I loved how pretty the room was.

Just some of the yummy, pretty food. This picture is for you Sara.

They had the cutest little bottles of ketchup and tabasco sauce, modeled by Emerson.

This is me getting my certificate. When it was your turn they called you on the stage and someone read what your graduating student wrote about you. I "earned" a PHT, and so did Audrey and Joshua (they were with my in-laws this day though). What Dave wrote for the kids was, "Thank you for always throwing the best welcome home party when I got home from school. I always love coming home to see your excited faces. I promise to always be a dad first, and a dentist second."

Graduation Weekend- Friday Night

I have been dreading blogging about graduation weekend. I feel like once I do, the San Francisco chapter of my life will officially be over. But considering it was a month ago from right now (my obsession with dates kicks in), I figure I can't postpone it any longer. It was such a great weekend, a time to celebrate with friends and family and a time to live it up, eat good food and dance the night away.

Alumni Banquet at the Ritz Carlton, San Francisco
Black tie affair. It was SO fun getting all dressed up (thanks Mimi for getting me all dolled up). The last time Dave was in a tux was at our wedding. I had no idea I was marrying a dentist-to-be.

All of the girls

We were able to sit with Rocia and Emer, Jocelyn and Brady and Kitrina and Eric which was great because it kept us entertained during the long awards ceremony. Emer and Dave were MIA for part of the night, so I'm glad I had Rocia there to keep me company.

Dave winning some award for endodontic stuff, leadership stuff, and other stuff. What did he win? Some plaques, a subscription to a magazine, and most importantly, cash.

Dave was the student rep for the Alumni board, so he presented some awards to the faculty.

Sweet Regan (and baby boy!)

I was obsessed with how pretty the room was. I love chandeliers and tulips.

Let the dancing begin. Our graduating class was so much fun. We have lots of fun memories dancing together. It was such a good group of friends and we all like to boogie it up on the dance floor.

Hopefully baby girl gets her Mama's dance skills (but her Daddy's guitar and Brittany Spears singing skills).

Pretty, pretty shoes.

Boy shoes aren't nearly as pretty.

Love, love, love this man.

A great day

Today we went to the splash park (with friends!!!), took great naps, Dave surprised us and walked through the door at 5:30, had family dinner, and then went to celebrate Dave passing his first test at Coldstone. Great, great day.

A first for everything...

Not the best picture of me, but a great memory with a great friend. Getting all gussied up for the big graduation weekend.

Saberell

My one and only niece turned two on June 11th. To celebrate we all went to 6 Flags to have one full day of ride riding, animal feeding, people watching, and cake eating fun.
We have loved, loved, loved living close to Saberell (that is what Audrey calls Savy) and her Mommy and Daddy. There is something so comforting about knowing your sister is so close, especially when your sister is one of your very best friends. We miss you so much, and thank heavens for Skype and Sprint to Sprint free minutes.
