Wedding Weekend Getaway

June 9th

Andrew and Carrie were flying in close by for Carrie's sister's wedding.  I decided to take a little weekend trip by myself and go see these fabulous people.  Carrie's family is so much fun, and we had a blast staying up until 3 am.  The wedding was absolutely beautiful, and I am so glad I got to go see everyone!

Carrie's sister wanted a bunch of different cakes.  It was so beautiful, and so delicious! 

I love seeing my brother as a Dad, and Carrie is such a wonderful Mom.  Love these people so much.

  

Grande and D Come to Visit

My parents came out for a little visit in June.  It was so nice to have them come and spend quality time with them.

Sweet Audrey

I found this paper that Audrey had made sometime while we were living in Colorado.  She is such a sweet girl, and I love how she knows that Dave and I value our sleep.
 

 

Mothers Day 2012

I love Mother's Day.  I love celebrating all the amazing women in my life, and I love feeling celebrated! Who doesn't?

Audrey's school Mother's Day gifts.  1st grade. 

Some of these answers are rather embarrassing, but true.  When I asked Audrey how she knew how to spell, "Bachelorette", she told me her teacher helped her.  Awesome.

I tend to eat my feelings.  Not so sure how I feel about leaving our 3 week California vacation and moving to a new place tomorrow.

Big sister duty.  I love this stage.  I wish I could freeze all three of my kids at their ages forever.

Put a little chunk of Ivory soap in the microwave and watch the magic. My kids were highly entertained. You can have them take a tub with it, or crumble it up and mix it with little pieces of toilet paper in tupperware for "clean mud."

Last day of school! Here's to having a great summer having our Audrey home!

Believe me, I have tried to teach him to proper way to hold his crayon/marker/writing utensil.  He just won't do it.  Hopefully he can get this figured out in PreK. 

 

 

Open House and Legos

Dave's practice had an open house for us.  It was a great way to meet everyone, and for our kids to show off their special talents, like sticking their fingers in the fruit dip, and smashing their faces against the glass.
