November 2014

I love, love, love when my kids read in their beds.  Especially when Joshua "reads" the New Testament.

Chrissy and I had our kids pack up their Halloween candy and send it to the soldiers.  I was over the sugar highs.  I let my kids choose if they wanted to do it, and I'm happy to say they all did.

The notes we put in the boxes.  I am so sad I don't have a picture of Joshua's.  I remember it being really funny, but I can't remember why.

A privilege I am proud of.

Austin loves to play kitchen through the window in the playhouse.  He could do it all day.  He calls the "bacon" a "fruit roll up".

Audrey's fourth grade performance.

Celebrating with ice cream after.  Aunt Jess and Uncle Ryan were so nice to come.

Last Sunday we were at the park.

School was cancelled the next day, and my kids so much fun playing "hot lava". They couldn't get off their pillows and they had to scoot everywhere they went.  Good thing they were old pillows.

Audrey and Austin were at birthday party, so Dave and I had some rare one on one time with Joshua. We all ate it up, and he wupped us at Sorry. #takethatsweetheart

Austin bonked heads with Daniel at school while throwing away something in the trash and got this nice little shiner.  It looks like he is wearing eye shadow, on one eye.

He made himself comfy.  And I loved it.

A really fun fashion show.

I went to Colorado to see Les, the Snooki to my Jwoww.

Waiting for the carpool kids.

Said cute carpool kids.

Audrey and Joshua think it is so fun to go "dress up" in our closet.  They don't think it's very fun to put everything away.

Audrey held her own at Zumba.  I love/hate that she is old enough to do these things with me.

My latest obsession.  Chocolate Heath mix. I was having four a week.

Happy Thanksgiving! We had a very relaxing day hanging out with family, went to a Thanksgiving buffet with friends, played games and then watched a movie from my childhood (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang).  Do not judge this lazy American.

Audrey's Sunday creation. I love her.

Teaching Audrey some pager code, from the good 'ol days.

Going to see Santa!

To decorate for Christmas, I put a Christmas picture in every one of my frames.

This is one of my all time favorite pictures of Mary.  I will never forget seeing it for the first time in the back of the Ensign in December, 2008.  Joshua was just 9 months old, and I flipped through the Ensign, and it caught my breath when I saw this picture.  I couldn't believe how much baby Jesus looked like baby Joshua.

It was really fun going through old Christmas pictures and finding these gems.
Talking to Andrew while he was on his mission.

A new favorite Christmas picture.

An afternoon of golf.

And nothing would be complete without some sort of kick, twirl, leap, or cartwheel from Audrey.

I listened to a Power of Moms podcast, about how we need to make sure we as mothers are documented as well, and not just always behind the camera.  Sooooo Austin had my phone on the way home from golfing and caught this lovely picture of me.  I was getting mad at Audrey because she was telling Joshua what her scary book was about, right after I had asked her not too.  I am not cute when I'm mad.

My friend Kelly told me that when she was raisin her kids, she was in charge of everyday homework, and her husband was in charge of big projects.  So now we do that too.  Dave did such a good job helping Audrey with her President poster.

I got really sick, and it is so nice that Austin is at a stage that he can keep himself occupied with a bag of pistachios and a new toy that my sweet friend Chrissy brought over while I napped for two hours.

Soccer.

"Hey Mom, we match!'

Joshua's self portrait.

One of these boys wishes he was really sleeping.

I love coming into the bathroom to find things like this.

The cup from Aunt Sara and Uncle Ben.

He was hungry one night at bedtime so we let him make himself a little snack.  Yogurt with granola, strawberries and apples.  I love this healthy boy.

Austin looooves to wear a ballerina costume that my friend Chrissy used to dance in, so I had to document that he will wear boy dress ups too.

I. Love. Him.
