September 2014

Even though it doesn't look like it, we are super sad summer is over.

Summer has been good to us.

Austin's first day of Mother's Day Out.

Fafa sent us a book he made about when he was a kid and the kids love reading it.

Best big sister.

My shaggy haired blonde boy.

Best friends.

First pig skin practice.

Anything Joshua does,

Austin want to do too. #brotheradmiration

Potty training Austin just about did me in.  He refused to go poop on the toilet.  We spent a lot time like this...

And celebrating small victories (I tried everything.  And I mean everything. Finally after about 7 months, he finally got it)

Walking with Aunt Jess to Joshua's football practice.  Dave was home not feeling well, and Ryan was out of town at a football game. We had a fun girls weekend with the kids.  The kids spent the night with Jess, and then it rained all day Saturday so we hung out at her house and played games with the kids.

Bachelor in Paradise finale party.

And no party is complete with a Paradise braid.

Audrey is in 4th grade, and this is the first time I have every walked my kids to school. This lazy sack is going to do it more often.

Quotes I like.

Austie and Owen. Owen always greets us with a "Hi Miss Michelle!! Hi Austie Boy!!"

All you can eat Thai buffet with Kelly and Megan. Yummmmm. We stayed so long we got a parking ticket.  But it was worth it.

I had a Relief Society activity one night, so I dropped Audrey at dance and then met up with Dave to bring him the boys. He took them into the golf store. I love them all.

Dave texted me these pictures during my activity.  I'm so obsessed with him.  Him being Dave, Joshua...

and Austie Boy.

Sick snuggle days. The first three pictures are from Tuesday when he was diagnosed with croop. The last picture is from today, Friday. He still isn't feeling very well.

Audrey is having a great time at her first dance convention! And she inherited her mother's dislike for sit-ups.

Meanwhile, back at home, the boys have been busy doing boy things. Joshua had his first football game today, and a soccer game.

Austin's first soccer game was last night.  I was there for that, and it was cuuuuuute.

The kids had a random Monday off of school, so we went on a long walk with Aunt Jess and baby Kensie.  The ducks were a huge hit.  Austin is standing in his typical stance.  And I love it.

Another tooth lost!

Christmas card pictures being taken.

Enjoying the little things, like it being cool enough to roll down the window.

Mike and Leslie came to visit! We went out to dinner and walked around the mall like teenagers with Diane and Kelly.

I never posted the finished picture of the playhouse Dave built.  He did a great job and the kids love it.

Sunday snoozing selfie. I laid down with Austin for 30 seconds and he was out.

Audrey wanted in on the snuggle fest.

My heart melts watching him sleep.  I love the goobers and crust on his face. And I love thinking about what he is dreaming about.

We did a freezer meal exchange. It was awesome.

Reading practice with Dad. I love these two. Mercer Mayer books.

"Mom, Baby Kensie do dis."

We let Kensie wake up Austin from his nap one day.

Audrey did a job for Hobby Lobby.

We had a very busy Saturday, and my nice phone lady was so nice to remind me. Three games, Dave's work party, A Mommy and Me activity, a baptism, and a broadcast that night. We did it!

Dave's work party was so fun.

Cutest little quarterback.

Mommy and Me.  Audrey got to pick out my outfit, and it was supposed to represent Audrey.  Lots of sparkles! Jess and Kensie were so nice to come too.

I did a bridal show.

The kids organized their own episode of "Cutthroat Kitchen", complete with a letter from the "FOod Network Manager" inviting Dave to be a judge. Their challenge was completed with Audrey only being able to use a small spoon, and Joshua "paid" with his monopoly money to have Audrey wear underwear on her head.

Even Austin got in on the fun.  And Audrey "paid" to have Joshua clean her room!

Audrey helping me take my hair out after my show. #rolereversal

For the wedding video.

Beautiful sunset at a Tuesday night soccer practice.

Striped pockets was the wrong answer.  Someone, please tell the answer to Audrey's homework. It's driving me crazy. (We decided it was lined pockets)
