I wanted to do something special with Audrey before I have this baby. My sweet Mom sent me money to use on a pedicure, but being the lucky girl I am, my sweet friends had already treated me to a pedicure. So I took Audrey to get one. It was her first time, and she loooovvvveeeed it.
Picking out what colors she wanted. Mine are pink and blue (remember how weird I am about colors and the gender of the baby? With Audrey I had pink, and with Joshua I had blue toes. I couldn't do pink with this baby in case this baby is a boy, and I couldn't do blue in case this baby is a girl, so I have both. Crazy, I know). Audrey wanted the same.
She couldn't stop smiling.
She didn't know how she felt about the filing part...
but loved the massaging part. She is her mama's girl.
The finished product and one happy girl. She has said at least 20 times, "Oh I just love my toes!" or "Oh I love my pedicure!" Sweet girl. Thanks GrandD!

Dinosaur Date
I knew on Monday I wanted to do something really fun with Joshua. There is a dinosaur exhibit I knew he would love so the two of us ventured downtown to see it. He loved it and I loved spending that quality time with him. It was a very fun morning spent with my boy.

He wouldn't look at me long enough for me to take his picture.
We met up with Megan and Luke and went to lunch. Very fun. Joshua stole my hat and then started being a gross boy.
And then blew kisses, making up for his naughty behavior.

Morning Outings
For the last few months, Mandy and I have been taking our boys one morning a week to either gymnastics, or some sort of "get your energy out" place. Since she was being induced on January 24th, I had to document our last morning play date before our babies came.
1.21.11
These sweet boys are such good friends. They are only 10 days apart, just like their little siblings will be.
Sitting on the torpedos.
And then off to our favorite taco restaurant. I will spare y'all the pictures of us stuffing our faces with bean burritos.

Sickly
We all got pretty bad colds a few weeks ago. Thank goodness Audrey, Joshua and I all got sick at the same time over the weekend and Dave was home to take care of us. Don't know what I would have done if it would have happened while he was at school. Then he started not feeling well, and even came home early from school one day, which he has never done before. It was fun to have him home early and snuggle on the couch.

Friday Night Snuggles & Smokers
This baby gets the hiccups every night. The kids love feeling it, and I love it too. One night they thought it was the orange I was eating that was making the baby "kick" so they kept feeding me oranges. This night, Joshua wanted to snuggle the baby.

Audrey wasn't feeling well so we went to snuggle her on the couch.
Dave's parents got us a meat smoker for Christmas. Dave is really excited about it. He was getting it all ready to use and Joshua pulled out his bbq from the playroom so he could be just like his dad.
Smoked plastic corn anyone? Joshua's specialty.

New Tradition
1.2.11
Audrey and Joshua wanted to sleep in the same bed one night. Audrey didn't have school the next day so we let them. It has become a tradition. Every weekend they get to sleep in the same bed and they love it. Audrey reads books to Joshua, they play, they get crazy, we have to go in every five minutes to ask them to calm down, but I love that they are best buddies so we let them continue the craziness.
Don't judge Joshua's binki situation. We know some really good orthodontists!
And I go in and take it out after he falls asleep. Sweet kids. Finally asleep.
The next night it was Joshua's bed.
I love their Thomas and Little Mermaid pillows.

Kinect
My parents gave us Kinect for Christmas and Joshua had so much trying to play the dancing game. Love this boy.

New Years Eve
We had a great time saying goodbye to 2010 and hello to 2011 with our great friends Chris & Megan, Mandy & Colby, and Leah & Zeb. We started off the night by all going out for hamburgers and then over to Chris & Megan's home. Thanks for hosting (again!) Megan & Chris! What would we do without you?
It was a really fun night filled with minute to win it games (for both adults and kids) and Wii dancing games (for both adults and kids).
Our kid countdown.
Happy New Years little miss.
You too big man.
Joshua snuck off to try some dancing with the Wii.
Game playing.
We put the kids down with a movie at about 10, thinking they would all fall asleep. Nope.
The adult minute to win it games. Lots of tissue!
Junk in the trunk. They had to try to get the balls from inside the tissue boxes out. Thanks Mimi for the idea!
Dave's genius idea. Too bad he still didn't win.
Megan & Leah shakin it.
The pregnant ladies tried, but didn't want to go into labor, so we stopped.
We had so much fun, and the kids loved watching from the balcony.
The actual countdown. Audrey was still awake so we had her come down and join us.
Then the adults started playing the Wii dance game. Watching our husbands was ha.lar.ious.
No clue what I am doing here. Trying to hold the baby in?
We finally called it a night at about 2:30 am.
2011 will be a big year for our little family. A new baby, Dave finishing residency, figuring out where we will settle, and I'm sure lots of little adventures along the way as well. Happy 2011!
