It's So Nice to Meet You

Dear Austin,
It has been so nice to have you in our family. You have made us draw closer as a family in a way that only the love from a newborn baby can. These last three weeks have been so fun getting to know your sweet little spirit and seeing your sweet little face.

that Memor and Fafa came and were beyond amazing helpers when you were born,

your perfect, soft little feet (that Audrey says she wishes she could snuggle at night, they are that soft),

 

that because you were born my mom came to spend six glorious days here, spoiling everyone rotten,

that your head fits in the palm of my hand, and those very kissable lips,

your bum. I could pinch it all day long,

and I love that you make me a better person. I love you sweet boy.

Our Baby Boy

It's official - the little man was born weighing in at 7lbs 6oz and 20 inches long. Both Mom and baby are healthy. Michelle did amazing as always - everyone was impressed. Here are a few pictures and Michelle will post more later. - David

Boy Or Girl?

We are off to the hospital to have this baby! I am excited, nervous, anxious and have butterflies thinking about this little one joining our family. I can't wait to meet him or her and see what this baby looks like. Blonde or brown hair? Blue or brown eyes? What's your guess?

Still My Baby

When I was painting Audrey's nails this morning, Joshua wanted his painted too.  I said absolutely not. After much debating, we finally settled on only his big toes. And his baby toes. And his thumbs.

And just in case this baby is a girl...
My mom did the splits the day she had me.  I have been blessed with flexibility so I made sure I did the splits the day I had Audrey. It didn't matter to me when I had Joshua...I don't think I did them.  But just in case this baby is a girl, I felt the need to make sure I could do the splits still.
