Happy Birthday Memor!

Happy Birthday to my wonderful mother-in-law, and Audrey's Memor. We love you and are so grateful for all you do for us. You are a wonderful example of service, kindness, and how to spoil your daughter-in-law and your grandkids rotten. We love you!

450 miles for the Diamond

Dave loves Diamond Rio, and I love Dave. Diamond Rio was playing at the Hanford County Fair last weekend, so Dave and I dropped Audrey off with Dave's parents and drove down for the concert. Ever hear of Hanford? Didn't think so. It is south of Fresno! Round trip was six hours of driving and 450 miles, but it was so fun! We ate In-N-Out on the way there, then at the fair we had: two ears of grilled corn on the cob, soup apple ice cream, corn dogs, fresh squeezed lemonade and cotton candy. I love fairs, and I love fair food! We stood in line for two hours so we could get good seats and we were right up front! Dave knew every word to every song and it was fun to sit and listen and then towards the end we stood and danced. On the way home we stopped at Taco Bell...great way to finish off the night!

Red, Blue and White

We had a great time celebrating RED, BLUE and WHITE this last week!
RED
Happy very late 4th of July! We had a great day of swimming, eating and hanging out with Dave's family. I love the 4th of July.
She really is a fire cracker.Waving the red, white and blue.Audrey was desperately trying to get her popsicle to push up!

BLUE
On 7/7/07 we celebrated the upcoming arrival of my second nephew to be. These are Dave's fabulous sisters and Mom. The one holding Audrey is the pregnant one. Hard to tell huh?

WHITE
On Wednesday we celebrated Dave receiving his white coat and being able to treat patients! I am so proud of Dave and all his hard work. He saw his first patient on Thursday, and I am so proud of my Dr. Dave!Being "hooded" with the white coatThank you for coming and supporting us Marianne, Bruce and Kristin!Wahoooo!!! First year is over! Bring on the patients! The wives. We earned these coats too, right? These are my new shoes I got from this fabulous website my sister found called endless.com. I love them, but I didn't think they were blog worthy until Dave told me they were his favorite pair of shoes I have ever owned.Audrey stayed home with my mom so I could enjoy the ceremony. Thanks GranD.

Say Cheese!

A's ad for Baby Gap is out! I think this is my least favorite picture of her EVER, but hey, it will help pay for her college!
I think they messed with her eyes in Photoshop because her eyes do not look like that.
You can see it bigger by going to http://www.gap.com/browse/category.do?cid=36354, or just go to BabyGap.com, click on "Baby Girl" then on "Infant Outfitting". This picture was taken on May 9th. Here is a picture of A at the shoot.

I feel kind of lame doing this, but some people have asked me when it was coming out, so here it is. Here is the ad I did for Byer. Not bad that two out of the three outfits are totally modest!

I can't figure out how to that fancy link thing, so you will just have to copy and paste it if you want to see it.

Catching up...

I feel like we have been doing so many fun things during D's break from school and I haven't been keeping up. What a great life we have...

Girls Night! Rebecca recently moved from the city, so she summoned other girls who have recently moved, plus some of us who still live in the city, to her beautiful new home for a night of good good, great friends and lots of laughs.

We went to Discovery Kingdom with Memor, Fafa, Aunt Ritz, Aunt Alli, Aunt Andrea, and of course Nathan. We had a great time and it was fun to watch the dolphin and whale show, but it was SO much fun to watch the kids reactions!
The brave adults went on a fun ride. A kept saying, "hair" because she could see our hair when we flipped upside down!
Thank you Memor and Fafa for such a fun day!

I did it! I made the cover of the Martha Stewart magazine for my dinner group! It was pretty tasty. Thanks for the picture Rachel.

My birthday! I turned 27 on the 27th. It was my Jubliee birthday! D made my day so much fun. We went to breakfast at this great bakery Tartine, then to Costco where I got a new phone, then naps for everyone, and then my sweet sister came and picked up A so D and I could go out to dinner and then we went to see Oceans 13. Perfect, perfect day.

My sister kept A from Wednesday until Friday (thank you Aunt Das, and GranD of course), so D and I took advantage and hiked Mt. Tamalpais on Thursday. We hiked for five hours and had a great time talking and just being together. For those of you who know my husband, know he is a pretty even tempered kind of guy. I have never really seen him loose control of a situation...until now. I present to you, "Dance of the Attacking Hornets":He was using our trail map to swat away the hornets who were "attacking" him. I was laughing so hard I cried. Thank you honey for your wonderful dance. I know it was just for me for my birthday! :)

Some of the beautiful things we saw on the hike:

We went to my parent's house yesterday to celebrate my birthday. I loved it. My mom made my favorite meal (Hungarian goulash...don't ask) and I got to see some of my favorite people, my family! We love the newest addition, little S.
Happy Birthday to me! Thank you everyone who made it so special!

Mexico

I am finally blogging about our fabulous trip to Cancun. We had a great time. A loved spending time with her Daddy, aunts, uncle, and her D and Guy. The weather was perfect, the resort beautiful and I loved spending quality time with my family. We laid by the pool, swam in the Caribbean ocean, went scuba diving, went to Chitzen-itza, Xel-ha, and ate yummy Mexican food. My brother in law makes some mean guacamole and salsa! We missed M, L and little S but we are glad little S is here.

Bubble bath with Aunt Das.

Walk on the beach with Guy and D.

Chitzen-itza
Aunt R and Uncle R snorkeling in Casa Cenote.

Enjoying the beautiful pools! We had A wear a hat, a UV sun shirt, and 50 SPF sunscreen ALL THE TIME. We had to protect our little San Francisco baby from the sun she so rarely sees!
Guy (my Dad wants to be called Grande, but A calls him "Guy"), Aunt R and Uncle R hiding from the sun! It was so nice to be so close to the ocean while relaxing at the pool.

A loves her Daddy. On the airplane all she wanted was him (I didn't complain. I was able to read 150 pages in my book!). I am so grateful for how good he is with her. I love watching them together. They love each other so much. (A is blowing kisses to me while I was taking the picture.)

A checking out her litle footprints. She still got pretty tan even though we went through two big bottles of SPF 50 on her alone!

We had a great time. Thank you D and Guy for such a wonderful trip!
